Westhoek | Albin Vega Lelystad

IN NEW CONDITION….. This Albin Vega with the name Westhoek in Lelystad, for rent from  Yachtcharter Lemmer, was built in 1975, but has had a thorough refit with no costs or spared effort. The yacht is newly built from casco. The hull is painted inside and outside in the 2 components and the underwater ship is in the coppercoat. Inside, almost all the woodwork including the partitions has been renewed. A new diesel engine has been installed. A second rudder blade is also mounted behind the screw. Thanks to the extra balance ruder, which steers parralel to the original rudder this semi long keel ship is very maneuverable. The Albin Vega has a generous sleeping cabin in the front for 2 people with a new, thick mattress (2023). In the cabin, 2 more beds are suitable, for an adult on the sofas with seabunk safety sails. The cushions in the cabin were renewed. Characteristic of the Albin Vega is the standing height of 1.75 meters in the entire cabin. The Westhoek has a fixed pump toilet. Recently, the kitchen has been refurnished with more efficient storage space, an insulated cooler on compressor and a 2 burner cooker. The ship is very fully equipped with outside navigation such as GPS, AIS transponder and chartplotter. An automatic pilot on a fixed pilot computer and a Windpilot windvane. The 9-inch Garmin plotter on a bracket is recently mounted and connected to the Raymarine navigation equipment. The mainsail and rolerfurler are in as new condition. The Albin Vega is a fine sailor, reliable and solid in strong winds. The ships are built seaworthy and you’ll will find them anywhere on the ocean. The sailing area consists of the inland waterways, the IJsselmeer and the Wadden (West). With sufficient sailing experience, coastal shipping is also possible on request.
