Pjotter | Breehorn 37 Lelystad

This cutter-rigged Breehorn 37, Pjotter, in Lelystad is a very seaworthy, sporty sailing yacht with excellent sailing characteristics for up to 6 people. The sailing yacht Breehorn 37 was designed by Dick Koopmans and for rent at  Yachtcharter Lemmer Holland . The yacht has 2 double sleeping cabins and 2 sleeping places in the saloon. Pillows and upholstery on the beds and the spacious seating area were replaced in 2019. A new 150 liter plastic water tank was also installed. This has created a lot of storage space under the benches in the cabin. Pjotter has a protected cockpit with steering wheel and bimini. For the colder months there is a cockpit tent that increases living space and comfort in port. The ship was built in 1995, underwent a refit in 2015 and is still in excellent condition. In spring 2024, a new linear autopilot was installed below deck, as well as a wind vane controller (wind pilot) and solar panels installed. To ensure that power consumption does not put a strain on the on-board electrical system, the refrigerator and stove now have their own powerful battery. The equipment includes two Garmin plotters: under the sprayhood (2022) and in the cabin (2024). A digital Garmin radar (2022) on a pole at the stern of the ship. Navtex is also there. In 2019, new Raymarine navigation instruments and the Ray 260 wireless handheld marine radio were installed. There is a Raymarine AIS transponder with its own antenna. The furling genoa and the fully battened mainsail with mast carriage date from 2014. The cutter jib on the furling reef is a little older. The sail drive received a new cuff as part of major maintenance in winter 2020/2021. The underwater hull was overhauled in 2021/2022. The sailing area is the IJsselmeer, the Markermeer, the Wadden Sea and the coastal waters. North Sea and Baltic Sea by arrangement. The rental price includes an ORC life raft for 6 people (tested in 2024) and automatic life jackets for 6 people. The Epirb is mounted in the cockpit.
